These sheep and sheperds are attached to the entry below. This is 2 hours outside of the city but it could be 100 or a 1,000 years ago. They were very friendly and welcoming, unfazed perhaps, in the same way that we were bemused their lifestyle.
Originally from a very small town in British Columbia, we are now living in Almaty, Kazakhstan, a city of 1.5 million. Dave is an English teacher, Edna is the school's Financial Officer, Kyla is in Grade 3, and Cody is in Grade 1. This is our second year here.
